32' Carver
TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale received a call about a 32' Carver actively sinking in Fort Lauderdale. Our crews arrived quickly, just in time to prevent further damage. They deployed two 8,000-gallon-per-hour electric dewatering pumps and a 2" gas pump to begin removing water from the vessel. The crew discovered the source of the flooding was a damaged hose connected to a through-hull valve. The valve was promptly closed, allowing the crew to dewater the vessel and prevent significant damage.
