58' Princess
A 58' Princess yacht sank at the dock during Hurricane Ian after sustaining significant damage from repeatedly striking the seawall. The vessel settled stern-down in the mud. Divers used sheets of plywood and splash zone to patch several large holes below the waterline. A crane barge was used to slowly lift the vessel, bringing it to the surface. Once at the surface, high-volume dewatering pumps were deployed to fully refloat the vessel. TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale then towed the casualty to a haul-out facility for damage assessment.
