50' Nor-Tech
TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale responded to a 50' Nor-Tech that sank dockside in Fort Lauderdale. Divers rigged multiple 4,000 lb lift bags at the stern to raise the quad-engine vessel to the surface, allowing high-volume dewatering pumps to be deployed to fully refloat the boat. Once recovered, the vessel was hauled out, and the engines were flushed and pickled for preservation.
